So this week I am going to update you on my reddit experience, some thoughts on Pathfinder 2, and updates on the content I am creating.
Reddit, Week 3
So I have not added much content this week, (that may change today) but I have commented on a few topics each day. I am trying to be a good commentator and be mostly positive. Most people are great and it is easy, for the most part, to ignore trolls and idiots. Reddit is definitely a marathon, not a sprint. It is something you need to weed and water and talk to for it to grow into something.
So the 2nd Edition of Pathfinder has been announced. Even though there is a great deal of information about it, things are still pretty mysterious as you would expect. I am not enthusiastic that the game will be streamlined and flow better. I think that there is a difference between crunch and complication. OTOH Starfinder was a bit better than I thought it would be. Will definitely be following along and participating in the play test.
Stuff I am working on this week
That is all for now.
So i renamed this blog to the blog I had on blogger. I liked that name, which is now this name, but there is some good stuff over that at that blog. So I am going to reprint those a few at a time over to this blog and maybe just link the old blog at some point. Actually right here. There is not much there at the moment.
I decided to go onto reddit because some people said they were having positive community experiences. I do not regret the decision. Yes some people are complete assholes. Most people are not. So I will be staying on reddit and slowly exploring it to see what I can see and to see how useful it will be.
The Widow's Well Goes Copper
Yes! My first DM's Guild product has gone Copper. That means it sold enough to have been considered a moderate best seller. I am prettyhappy about that and so I feel much better about releasing my next few products. The next big step though is releasing a generic D100 module and seeing the response to that. The Curse of Gharmanta will be an interesting experiment, since it will not be part of the DM's Guild.
